The Tom Devlin name may sound familiar to you, and that’s probably because he has a monster museum here in Boulder City, as well. Devlin, a professional special effects artist, opened Dinosaur Adventure in order to expand his collection in an attraction that was more kid-friendly than the monster museum.

Although small, there’s definitely a lot to love about Dinosaur Adventure. Upon walking inside, you’ll be greeted by all sorts of cool dinosaur-themed activities, including a massive playground and ridable dinosaurs for kids (and adults, too!)

One of the attraction’s most loved features is the fossil sandbox. This fossil pit contains the “bones” of many different breeds of dinosaurs, and kids are encouraged to uncover them all in order to see what species of dinosaurs remain here.

Additionally, a visit to Dinosaur Adventure is only complete after you’ve greeted Frankenstein, a desert tortoise who loves interacting with people and eating copious amounts of watermelon.

There is also a paleo cave system which kids will have an absolute blast exploring. Just remember that socks are required for anybody wishing to check out the cave or fossil pit, so don’t forget them! If you do, you can always buy a pair for $2.

Admission to this enchanting little attraction is $10 and there is no time limit enforced. All adults and infants get in free with a paid child. Take a walk on the wild side and be sure to check this place out for some good ol’ family-friendly fun!
