Fête des Fromages is back for another year of gouda fun and brie-tiful cheeses from about the world. Not only is it the biggest cheese festival in New Orleans, but the entire country. Also known as NOLA Cheese Fest, visitors to this awesome festival will have the opportunity to taste more than 150 cheeses from cheesemakers around the world.

On Wednesday, November 13, visitors can purchase tickets to the Sazerac House for a pairing class that’s sure to dazzle your taste buds.
Fête des Fromages/Facebook You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy pairing five different cheeses with five different Sazerac cocktails. This year, national cheese expert Liz Thorpe will be leading the session and you’ll learn the histories behind both the products and the pairings.
On Friday, November 15, local chefs will battle for “perfect bite” bragging rights.
Fête des Fromages/Facebook Local chefs from restaurants like Atchafalaya, Bayona, Otra Vez and several others will each prepare their version of a perfect bite with a cheese from a visiting cheesemaker. Try them all and cast your vote!
And then on Saturday, head over to the New Orleans Jazz Museum for an unlimited amount of cheese samples.
