You Can Practically Drive Right Up To The Beautiful Jackson Falls In New Hampshire

If we had a nickel for every time we saw a beautiful photo of something in New Hampshire that required a ten-mile hike to access, we’d be very rich. Sometimes it can seem like all of the most awe-inspiring parts of the state are hidden within the forest or a state park that requires a day of sweating to access. But, the reality is that there are plenty of things to see here that are really quite easy to find. This waterfall requires no hiking and it’s one of the most lovely in the state!

Head to downtown Jackson to access one of the most beautiful waterfalls in the state. In addition to being lovely to look at, this is a great option for folks who have limited mobility or just don’t want to spend hours hiking to see a waterfall.

And one of our favorite things about this one is that the drive to reach it is just as lovely as the waterfall itself. If you love New Hampshire’s small towns and going through some of the more rural roads this trip is one that should be on your list.

And the drop is more than 100 feet. That means this waterfall feels special, even though it’s just off the road.

There are two vantage points from which to take in the Jackson Falls. There’s a parking area at the top, which provides sweeping views of the surrounding area.

Jackson Falls is located in Jackson, New Hampshire. It’s just off of Route 16, north of Conway. If you’re coming from the south, make a right across the Jackson Covered Bridge. Take the road through town back towards Route 16. When you cross the next bridge, make a right and head up the hill. The falls are there!
