One of our favorite parts about the holiday season here in West Virginia is seeing how all of the different areas of our state begin to transform. First, West Virginians are usually hit with a fresh layer of snow, motivating us to jump right into our favorite time of year and to begin our decorating. Next comes the exciting fact that our most beloved holiday traditions and attractions begin to pop up around the Mountain State, bringing joy to all who make their way out to celebrate. Just outside of Point Pleasant in Mason County, this marks the 19th year of the WV State Farm Museum transforming for us during the holidays.

Between December 6th and 15th, West Virginians can visit the WV State Farm Museum to see all 120 acres of the museum completely decked out in lights and glowing displays.

Made up of over 3 million lights, you’ll be able to drive through the museum’s display to see what it’s like to witness every inch of the grounds shining bright for the holidays.

A tradition that many of us have been partaking in for years, it takes weeks upon weeks of hard work and effort to get this incredible display of lights all set up.

At the Country Store and Kitchen, guests of the event will be able to stop in and visit Santa Claus before grabbing some free cocoa and cookies on the way out!
