Once upon a time, the Buckeye State was even home to the world’s largest eagle’s nest. Today, there’s a massive replica of it on display at the Carlisle Visitor Center in LaGrange, Ohio.

The Raptor Center of Lorain County Metro Parks features “The Great Nest”, which is part of a larger display of bird’s of prey.

At the center, you’ll observe hawks, falcons, owls and even a bald eagle. The facility cares for wild-hatched birds with permanent injuries.

“The Great Nest” exhibit is located at the back corner of the visitor’s center. It’s a replica of the largest eagle’s nest ever recorded near Vermillion, Ohio.
