Hiking’s just good for the soul, isn’t it? It gives us the chance to breathe in the fresh air, to catch glimpses of wildlife, and to stumble upon hidden natural wonders. Fortunately, Missouri has so many hiking trails that, no matter our age or our skill level, we can find the perfect ones for us. If you’re up for a bit of a challenge that’s rewarded with a beautiful waterfall, set off on this waterfall trail in Missouri.
Set aside at least a few hours for your trek along the Waterfall Trail in Branson, which will take you through lush green and to a spectacular waterfall.

The 1.8-mile trail is rated moderate and winds along Roark Creek, so be prepared for some challenges, including rocky terrain.

Wear sturdy shoes or hiking boots, which should help on the rocky terrain. In addition, the trail becomes pretty muddy when the creek swells and after a rainfall.

The largest waterfall is certainly the main attraction of the hike, but you’ll also see several smaller waterfalls along the trail, too.

If you’ve got plenty of time, bring lunch with you. You can find a spot on a rock nearby the waterfall to eat and to enjoy the views.
