Covered bridges are just so charming. Maybe it’s because they take us on a stroll down Memory Lane, to the days long before modern transportation and the advances of technology. Missouri once laid claim to more than 30 covered bridges. Today, however that number has whittled down to just four. Here are just five reasons to visit Burfordville Covered Bridge in Missouri.

Wikipedia/Drowzy Burfordville Covered Bridge boasts a rich history that dates back to 1858. That year, construction on the bridge began with Joseph Lansmon at the helm. When the covered bridge opened for use, however, isn’t known.
