Traveling at a young age brings countless benefits, but there’s no denying that the steep cost of flying can make the experience difficult to attain for college-aged Americans. While bargains can be difficult to track down, young adults will be happy to learn that a new promotion from United Airlines offers temporary discounts for flyers between the ages of 18 and 22.

Flickr/Global X United Airlines’ newest promotion offers a 10% discount to young adults who book their travel before December 31st, 2019. There are several stipulations in place, but these guidelines are relatively simple to follow and the benefits far outweigh the hassle of extra requirements. Travelers must be registered with United’s MileagePlus program and flights must be booked through the airline’s mobile app. In addition, each traveler is limited to the booking of one seat in economy class. United hopes to attract a younger demographic through the promotion, shifting its priorities to appeal to Generation Z.

In addition to a handful of less common international destinations, this unique promotion will apply to flights booked within Canada, Mexico, and the United States. For young adults, this short program could open doors to travel opportunities that might have previously seemed unattainable.
