While we’re certainly reveling in the warm weather of summer, we’re also working on our must-do list for autumn. As any New Hampshirite knows, the season could change any day and when it does we want to be ready. Sure, ready means warm clothes, but mostly it means knowing where to go for the best fall treats around…cider and donuts! This spot has some of the best and you can bet we’ll be there at the first sign of a leaf falling to the ground.

For nearly 10 years, Cider Bellies Doughnuts has been the most important part of Moulton Farm in Meredith.

Okay, so some might argue the “most important” part but if you’re judging by the line that grows just after they open each day you’ll agree that it’s a delicious part at the very least!

The doughnuts are the concept of Jessica Stevens who brought the concept to New Hampshire from her home town in upstate New York.

Cider Bellies are a phenomenon, always made with real cider. But they differ from many of the cider doughnut options at other farms by offering drizzles and topping galore. The plain variety is great, but who doesn’t love having a little something extra to love?

The menu is simple. Buy one, buy a half-dozen or buy a dozen. But definitely leave with a t-shirt!

A simple topping is just…sugar. Can’t go wrong with that! And you’ll love the cider that’s also being poured here.

But you can spice things up with toppings like the Irish cream drizzle.

Or get them with chocolate, nuts and coconut.

You can’t forget the sprinkles.

Cider Bellies Doughnuts is located right next to the farm stand at Moulton Farm and you wouldn’t be wrong to add some extra time to load up on these treats before leaving with everything else you came for.
