The owner, Bogusia was born and raised in Poland, and she creates age-old family recipes here with her daughter, Aniela.
Bonnie W/Tripadvisor The restaurant is named for Bogusia’s father, Tomasz Uminski, whose nickname was “Julek,” which means “big heart.” He was a well-loved man who helped out in his community. Though he passed away in 2010, the owners of Julek’s Polish Kitchen hope to honor him by upholding his values and contributing to the community of Talent.
Everything on the menu here is created with authentic flavors, using locally-sourced, organic ingredients whenever possible. All of the dishes on the menu are delicious, but guests here go crazy over the pierogies.
