October in Ohio can be downright spooky—spooky and fun, of course.

All throughout the state, you’ll find unique events and places the whole family can enjoy. (Be sure to check out this jack-o-lantern trail that’s both scary and family-friendly.) During the month of October, Heritage Village Museum in Sharonville features a haunted village where families can go trick-or-treating. If you find yourself near the Cincinnati area this October, it’s well worth a stop. Put on your costume and get ready for some spooky thrills.

Modeled after an early 1800s village, Heritage Village Museum is a one-of-a-kind attraction that showcases what life was like in small town Ohio during the 19th-century.

During the month of October, the historic village transforms into a haunted village on the weekends. This year, the Haunted Village will take place on October 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26.
