This Main Street In Vermont Turns Truly Enchanting During Christmastime

It’s beginning to look and feel a lot like Christmas in Vermont! With the temps starting to drop, the snow starting to fall, and the Christmas decor starting to appear, the holidays will soon be underway! Many towns in Vermont have a Main Street where local businesses line the road and during the holidays, a lot of them will deck the halls with Christmas lights. One of those towns? Stowe, Vermont.

“A Christmas Tradition” in Stowe has been named a Top Ten Winter Event 2018-2019 by The Vermont Chamber of Commerce.

Stowe Vibrancy/Facebook With a weekend line-up of fun Christmas activities, it’s no surprise. The weekend programing is put on by the non-profit organization, Stowe Vibrancy.

On the Friday that it begins, the Helen Day Library and Arts Center opens its doors to the community for the Members Art Show Opening and Festival of Trees and Lights.

It takes place from 5pm-7pm and the lighting of the Christmas tree is truly magical.

Children and adults can decorate their own gingerbread house together.

And kids can meet Mr. and Mrs. Claus along with one of their four-legged helpers.
