The Continental Divide is a geological division of the Americas that separates the watersheds that drain into the Pacific from those that drain into the Atlantic. There are actually several of these divides that can be found in North America, although the most prominent is known as the Great Divide. This divide happens to fall along the high peaks of the Rockies and as you can imagine, is absolutely breathtaking.
