Halloween is almost here and we can’t help but get into the spirit! The wind in the trees and the chill in the air all feel just a little bit spookier than it does any other time of year. And, if there’s any state in the country that knows how to celebrate this time of year it’s New Hampshire! If you want to make this year extra-special make your way to Jackson. Their annual fall tradition is one of the best.

But while some folks from out of state might simply drive by, we always recommend a stop during October for the town’s annual Pumpkin People tour!

This year marks 35 years of this fun tradition of creating displays of people in different situations using pumpkins.

There are over 80 different locations hosting displays and each one is totally unique and different. Many are actually funny!

Of course, some are a little creepy.

And it wouldn’t be New Hampshire if there wasn’t a nod to The Pats.

You can tour each of the 80 displays by grabbing a map of the town at any of the businesses taking part in the event throughout the Conway and Jackson Area.

And, time your visit for the end of the month to take part in the annual fall festivals put on by the neighboring towns of Intervale, Glen, Bartlett and Hart’s Location.
