There’s no better way to end a weekend than by indulging in a delicious Sunday brunch—even better if it’s a buffet! The next time you feel like chowing down on delicious breakfast food, consider planning a trip to the restaurant simply known as Dockside in Coeur d’Alene. This restaurant is most notable for their massive Sunday buffet which is loaded with all of your breakfast favorites, and then some. The buffet alone is worth the trip to this North Idaho town, so read on to check it out.

Located on the lakeside at The Coeur d’Alene Resort, Dockside is an elegant family restaurant that continues to impress with their breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. However, their Sunday buffet is by far one of the best in the state. We’d even go as far to say it’s worth traveling for!

You’ll find this stunning restaurant on the resort’s lobby level, right at the water’s edge. This restaurant may be best known for its food, but the views of the Lake Coeur d’Alene and the dock is definitely worth a mention.

Dockside describes their Signature Sunday Brunch as “legendary”, and we definitely agree. This buffet has just about every dish you could imagine, including salads, Italian sausage, brown sugar bacon, crème brûlée French toast, made-to-order crepes, and so much more.

There’s seriously something for everyone to enjoy at this all-you-can-eat extravaganza. From simple fresh-baked breads, muffins, and pastries, to larger ticket items like fresh-roasted turkey (with stuffing), smoked honey glazed ham, and fresh Northwest salmon—this buffet has it all.

The Champagne Mimosa Bar is definitely a favorite among the 21 and up crowd. Featuring flavors like wild Idaho huckleberry, fresh fruit, or classic, it’s the perfect addition to any Sunday brunch. If this ain’t paradise, we don’t know what is!

We realize this may be a difficult task, but we highly recommend saving room for dessert. Dockside’s iconic dessert, known as the “World-Famous Gooey”, is a must-try. It comes in a variety of flavors such as Butterfinger Hot Fudge, Chocolate Obsession, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, and The Gooey Monster (shown below.)
