The Southern California Observatory Hike Has A Restaurant On The Trail

Sometimes all you need is a refreshing hike outside and a bite to eat to feel completely rejuvenated after a long week. Although there are plenty of hikes around Southern California that are quite challenging, we thought you might be interested in an easy hike that also offers a restaurant along the trail. How’s that for the perfect day?! Here’s a look at where you can find this blissful destination in Southern California.

Located within Griffith Park you’ll find an easy trail that also has a tasty restaurant along the route.

The Observatory Loop Trail is approximately two-miles roundtrip. You can reach the trail by heading to 2800 E Observatory Rd., Los Angeles, CA 90027.

You’ll find a little bit of everything along the Observatory Trail. A lush forested setting, stunning city views, and a yummy restaurant where you can fuel up with great food before or after your hike. We’ll tell you more about that in just a bit.
