As the most isolated population center on earth — located more than 2,000 miles from the closest continent — the Hawaiian Islands are unique. Everything from our culture to the food we eat is a bit different than the mainland. One of our favorite local foods is kalua pork, and Kono’s serves some of the best.
Welcome to Kono’s! With three locations on the island of Oahu — in Haleiwa, Kapahulu, and Kailua — Kono’s is one of our all-time favorite spots for slow-roasted pulled pork and Hawaiian classics.

This casual, counter-serve eatery was started on the north shore in 2002 and has made quite a name for itself on the Hawaiian foodie scene.

For more than 15 years, Kono’s has been selling it’s signature 12-hour slow-roasted kalua pork in their famous breakfast bombers, sandwiches, and plate lunches. Our mouths are watering just thinking about it.

Other pork-inspired dishes include wraps and salads, but don’t worry: your non-pork eating friends will find something to love, whether it’s one of their six breakfast bombers, banana macadamia waffles, a BLT, or their turkey bacon ranch club wrap. There’s truly something for everyone here.
