Santa Claus House / Facebook The owners, Con and Nellie Miller, arrived in the area with two children and only $1.40 in their pocket in 1949. After a stint as a fur trader, Con started dressing up like St. Nick each Christmas, and soon opened his trading post with the name “Santa Claus House.”
The infamous Santa that stands outside the store was actually crafted in the 1960’s.

When you enter the shop, you’re greeted with gorgeous views of twinkling lights and colorful decorations.
