Welcome to the Prehistoric Indian Village, the only archaeological site in South Dakota that is open to the public!

Discovered in 1910 by a Dakota Wesleyan University student, the site is home to an incredible preserve that dates back some 1,100 years and features many of the original dwellings designed by these prehistoric tribes.
