What comes to mind when you think of classic Montana cuisine? We’re guessing it isn’t seafood, especially fish & chips, which is a traditional coastal dish. But if you’re ever in Billings, you’ll be treated to the best fried seafood of your life… and the portions are far from small. Mary Jackson opened this eatery just over five years ago, and we’re eternally grateful.
Crazy Mary’s is located inside an unassuming building on 6th Avenue North, where it has been since January of 2014.

The interior space is simple and the seating is limited.

So, is this eatery the result of Mary’s lifelong dream? Not quite.

The portions here are not small, but you might be surprised by how much you’re able to eat.

The menu also includes clam strips, shrimp, catfish, fish tacos, and other fried and grilled seafood.

The quality of the seafood here is fantastic, and Mary really knows what she’s doing in the kitchen.
