With daylight savings in full swing, it feels like just a matter of time before winter weather hits. And according to forecasters, that could all happen sooner than you’d think. A recent report indicates that the Northeast and Ohio Valley may experience their first bout of winter weather for the season. Here’s more on the predictions.

Starting as early as Thursday, portions of the Midwest and the Northeast are expected to experience wintery weather.

According to the Weather Channel, a light dusting of snow paired with frigid temperatures could arrive by the weekend.

While it’s still too early to predict exactly how much snow could fall, forecasters believe any accumulation will be light and shouldn’t effect traffic patterns.
