After months of signs proclaiming “Coming Soon,” Las Vegas local Zak Bagans — of Ghost Adventures fame — finally opened his Las Vegas Haunted Museum. This museum of the paranormal is filled with curiosities from Bagans’ own collection which he claims are filled with mystical energy (in other words: haunted.) Regardless of whether you believe in the paranormal or not, this museum has been getting rave reviews. Take a look.

It’s heeeeeeeeeere…

Looks like a regular house, doesn’t it?

May A./Yelp Actually, this 11,000-square foot, 30-room mansion was constructed in 1938 and was originally owned by banker Cyril Wengert. The house has often been the subject of paranormal goings-on.

There’s nothing unusual about a little gargoyle decoration…

Jeannette C./Yelp Bagans purchased the house in 2015 after an eight-year search for a “haunted” house. He has since converted it into the museum. During the construction, however, two workers ran from the mansion and quit, while other workers claimed they frequently felt odd — as if the life was being sucked out of them.

…or skulls and tikis that somewhat resemble Chewbacca, right?

Visitors can enjoy hour-long tours and Bagans himself frequently stops and interacts with tour groups.

Bagans has a fascination with dolls, which is evident throughout the museum. Even while they may not be haunted themselves, they are, indeed, creepy.

Bagans also has a fascination with serial killers. Among the museum’s items include paintings done by John Wayne Gacy, artifacts owned by Charles Manson and Richard Ramirez, and Ed Gein’s cauldron.

While the museum may or may not be haunted, visitors have reported hearing voices, seeing apparitions, and having physical reactions like scratches on their skin, temporary paralysis, and other reactions.
