Missoula is an amazing city for nature lovers. Not only does a river run right through the middle of town, but you can enjoy quite a few hikes without even leaving the area. If you’re up for a bit of a challenge as long as it comes with some visually stunning views, you’ll definitely want to check out the majestic Mount Jumbo.
The Mount Jumbo Trail is a six-mile hike located just outside of Missoula.

The trail begins at the top of the Lincoln Hills neighborhood. Just look for the signs and the parking area.

Soon you’ll reach a cluster of trees, where the trail gets even steeper.
