That’s right! That iconic couch is on tour in celebration of the 25th anniversary and it’s making a pit stop in New Orleans for a few days. Clear your schedule and head over to the French Quarter’s Washington Artillery Park so you can sit on one of the most iconic pieces of furniture in the history of television. Could this be any better?

To celebrate the show’s 25th anniversary, that iconic orange couch is going on tour.

Television’s most recognizable pieces of furniture is hitting all the major stops on its world tour, stopping off at places like the Grand Canyon, Stonehenge, and even the Eiffel Tower.

30 replicas of the couch are being placed at locations all around the world, and New Orleans is one of the stops.

That’s right. From September 19-22, you could sit on the beloved 3-seater sofa and get a picture taken.

The couch will be placed in Washington Artillery Park in the French Quarter.

Kicking off the celebration, there’ll be a second line featuring umbrellas in the “Friends” theme colors. There will also be branded materials from Cafe du Monde and a George Rodrigue reproduction on display. Die-hard fans will remember that a Blue Dog painting hung in the background of Central Perk for a few seasons during the show’s 10-year run.
