As you may imagine, South Carolina’s coastline is a seafood lover’s paradise with scores of choices if you’re craving delicious seafood. But what about farther inland? The landlocked portions of the state aren’t as well known for seafood as a specialty. However, there are a few exceptions, like The Flounder Fish Camp.

Folks who’ve already tried the delectable seafood at The Flounder know they’re not leaving disappointed.

Seafood aside, you’re in for an old-school presentation that may seem a little quirky. The unique serving trays are akin to a TV dinner tray and you’ll come to love it!

The retro trays are as authentic as is the history of The Flounder Fish Camp. It opened in 1969 and is still owned and operated by the same local family.

Without a doubt, the most popular item on the menu is the fried flounder! But the menu also features other seafood, like fried shrimp and oysters, burgers, and six different kinds of stew.

Don’t forget to add a side of hush puppies or onion rings! (You can thank us later for that tidbit.)
