Each year, the Farmers’ Almanac makes predictions for winter weather around the US. This year, we’re in for quite a ride.

According to the Farmers’ Almanac, most of the country can expect above-normal winter precipitation, especially the East Coast.

January is expected to be particularly cold and the below-freezing temperatures could linger for weeks.
