The event is held on Small Business Saturday. To encourage Alaskans to shop local, they have a great raffle for Alaska Airlines tickets.

The event is filled with great activities, and there are free cookies and hot chocolate for anyone coming to the square for the evening.

Santa arrives dramatically on his sleigh every year, to make his entrance and light up the Holiday tree!

When Santa finally lights the tree the rest of the evening begins!

The music portion of the evening is fabulous, including carolers from Anchorage Concert Chorus and East High Swing Choir.
