Applefests are a traditional, classic event held in towns all over the place. They’re always fun, but not all of them are as fun as this particular one. Head over to the unique location of Buckstop Junction, a historic “town” of sorts near Bismarck, and enjoy this annual event that’ll be full of food, entertainment, and all sorts of fun this year – and it’s for a good cause.
Buckstop Junction is a historic town just outside of Bismarck made up of old, restored, and relocated buildings from small towns all over North Dakota. Other than being a kind of museum to explore during the rest of the year, it is also host to an annual Applefest.

This Applefest gets bigger and better every year with tons of things to see, do, and experience. The best part of it all is that the entire event is a benefit for the Bismarck Cancer Center. Bring the whole family to this amazing event.

The event will be happening on September 21st and 22nd, 2019. Throughout the weekend there will be tons of live entertainment, activities for all ages, and lots of food - all among the neat, sometimes century-old buildings of Buckstop Junction.

Vendors galore will be selling their homemade goods, crafts, and more, as well as cool shows such as a classic tractor show that will delight people of all ages.

You can even get a ride on some hay bales being pulled by a tractor, or bring the kids to the petting zoo to see and feel all sorts of animals.

Throughout Applefest there will be live music, incredible acts, and demonstrations of things like apple pressing or wood carving. There certainly is no shortage of things to see here!
