One of the Inn’s most famous residents and employees, Miss Kate Arnold, worked here for 64 years. She was a seamstress, desk clerk, housekeeper, hostess and the Inn’s self-appointed night watchmen.
Sheridan Inn
She only left the Inn after it was purchased and closed down, but her dying wish was to return. After a small ceremony in her private room, her ashes were placed behind a wall. Her spirit remains to this day, looking over everyone who stays at the Sheridan Inn.
