The unassuming storefront is easy to miss, but inside they’re cooking up some of the tastiest tacos in New Orleans, and it’s time to visit them.

googlemaps.com When Roberto Méndez opened the doors to the tiny little restaurant in 1988, there were only 2 small tables and 10 bar stools that overlooked the kitchen. It didn’t take long before word got out, and it quickly became a favorite for New Orleanians. So much so, that over the years he has opened two other locations in Metairie and Harahan.
It might not look like much from the outside, but this tiny but mighty restaurant is a vibrant and colorful space that’s perfect for a casual meal with loved ones.
