When you think of Northern California in the fall do you think of trains? You should. We have some of the prettiest fall colors this side of the Mississippi. How about grabbing a few friends and watching the colors from a train? With fall foliage for miles there’s no reason why you’re not mapping out a few trips. If you’ve never been on the Napa Wine Train, this is your year. Stop procrastinating and finally mark this one off of your bucket list. You won’t be disappointed!
Fall. One of the most incredible seasons in Northern California. When it comes to colors this time of year–you’re going to want to head up to Sonoma County.
Have you ever been on the Wine Train? If you live around these parts it’s really easy to dismiss something you’ve become accustomed to, but when are you finally going to pull the trigger and hop on?
This historic slow-moving train winds through some of the prettiest parts of the wine country. There are lots of options to choose from: take a ride in the morning or later in the day. Stop off at some of the wineries or just stay on board. The sky’s the limit!

What makes this time of year even more incredible? It’s crush season. If you’re not familiar, that means it’s the time of year the grapes are harvested for the new season. Not only gorgeous but a celebrated time of year here.

While you’re weaving through some of the most amazing fall colors, don’t forget you’re actually on one of the most talked about Napa restaurants on wheels. It can be a little pricey but the consensus is it’s worth every penny.
