If you’re looking for a little holiday magic, the Alaska Botanical Gardens in Anchorage hosts a holiday light walk that will fill you with cheer! Bring the whole family to walk amongst the colorful decorations and enjoy an evening out. You may even catch a night with a bonfire and hot chocolate!

This magical experience takes place in Anchorage, Alaska, and this is its second year running!

Every week hosts fabulous performances of live music.

Alaska Botanical Gardens Find favorites like the Carhartt Brothers and Turnagain Blues, or stroll through the trails to the lovely sounds of the Anchorage Mandolin Orchestra. No matter what your style of music, there’s a night worth visiting!

Inside the large greenhouse find local vendors displaying their wares.

Alaska Botanical Garden Do a little Christmas shopping and support local Alaskan artisans at the same time! They also have beautiful model train displays on view inside this incredible building.

Some weeks they even have “Read Aloud” story time, with the classic The Polar Express.

On Friday nights you can find a warm bonfire in the gardens.

The gardens will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
