Updated in the last two years to include a huge expansion, Shiloh General Store has all of the essentials (including a deli) to make for a fun and eclectic day trip into North Carolina’s Amish country.

It was recently updated and enlarged from an older, smaller building, and now includes much more space — and many more handmade Amish goods. You’ll find everything from baked goods to handmade wooden furniture, and more.

From the moment you walk into the store, the sweet smell of freshly baking bread is an obvious clue there’s a bakery. Nearby are shelves and shelves of freshly baked loaves you can carry home to share with the family.
