The holidays are just around the corner! If you have yet to decide on some fun, family-friendly activities to do while waiting for Christmas to arrive, then we have just the spot for you to check out. One peek at the photos and you’ll definitely want to add one of the New Mexico’s best holiday light shows to your to-do list.
Welcome to the wonderfully brilliant River of Lights, a massive holiday light show held at the Albuquerque BioPark Botanic Garden.
River of Lights/Facebook This annual light display began as a modest fundraising event in 1997 with just a handful of light sculptures. Since then, it has grown into the largest holiday light show in the state with hundreds of light sculptures, millions of twinkling lights illuminating the park, and thousands of visitors flocking here each year.
Walk into the park and you’ll be dazzled; the park hosts more than 500 light sculptures throughout the garden!
