All across the United States, there’s not an autumn more beautiful than the ones we have in Minnesota – at least we think so. Not only is it beautiful, but there are countless unique ways to see the fall foliage. You can go ride a gondola up a mountain, or take a scenic open-air train ride. And, as today’s attraction will prove, you can even ride a mountain coaster high above the changing trees. The Timber Twister Mountain Coaster in Duluth is one of the best ways in Minnesota to see the leaves change. Here’s what you need to know:

Like any roller coaster, you’ll first go down a long hill to pick up speed. In the fall, the trees surrounding the track are bright with color.

After you make it down the drop, the coaster zips through turns at high speeds. The 3,200-foot track has many sharp turns, making this an exhilarating ride.

Through the first few turns, you’ll be going fast enough that the orange, yellow, and red trees will be a blur of color.

But eventually, you’ll catch glimpses of the view far below you. The sparkling waters of the St. Louis River will peek through the autumn trees.
