The Saint Charles Christmas Traditions Festival has been transforming the city of Saint Charles for over 45 years. This year the festival takes place from November 29, 2019 and runs until December 24, 2019.

During the opening ceremony, and every Saturday and Sunday, stop by Kister Park Gazebo to hear The Cobblestone Wassailiers sing Christmas carols. Nothing will put you in the holiday spirit quicker than a Christmas carol or two!

The whole town is decked out in holiday decor from Christmas lights wrapped around trees to tinsel and wreaths hung on store fronts.

What’s better than a Santa Parade? A Santa Parade that occurs every weekend! Yep, you heard right. The Santa Parade rolls through Historic St. Charles every Saturday and Sunday until the end of the festival, December 24th.

On December 21st and 22nd, Santa will be bringing his reindeer for all to visit. Just head on over to the Historic Missouri First State Capitol State Historic Site at 200 South Main Street from 3 p.m. till 5 p.m.

The entire month-long festival is jam-packed with activities, performances, and more. Visitors always enjoy watching the “Christmas Carol” performance that takes place every weekend. Enjoy an interactive presentation of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” presented by Ebenezer Scrooge every Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and Sundays at 4 p.m.
