Perhaps the most famous urban waterfall in the South, the Reedy River Falls is a natural wonder that, thanks to the City of Greenville, everyone can enjoy and appreciate to the fullest. Once an urban eyesore (and worse), a little more than 15 short years ago, the falls were hidden by a highway and decades of overgrown foliage. Today, however, this urban oasis draws many locals and visitors alike to downtown Greenville and to the 32-acre park that’s become a nature lover’s paradise.
Although beautiful in every season, visitors who time a visit to coincide with the arrival of autumn colors are never disappointed.
