Red Truck Bakery has made quite a name for itself over the past few years. Starting as a one-man operation, the business has since expanded to an impressive scale. Yet walking into either of the two Northern Virginia locations of Red Truck Bakery, you’ll still get the sense that you’re part of the local community. The Warrenton location, for example, is a renovated 1921 Esso Gas Station loaded with charm and history. But don’t worry, you won’t detect any scent of gasolene here, just freshly-baked pies, cakes, jams, and other treats. The name “Red Truck” was inspired by the owner and lead chef, who moved to the area and explored the nearby farms in his iconic red 1954 Ford farm truck.
