Push Mountain Road is an incredibly gorgeous yet underrated drive in North Central Arkansas.

Facebook/Arkansas Motorcycling Also known as “The Snake,” Push Mountain Road is perfect for motorcyclists. Of course anyone that loves a pretty scenic drive is welcomed as well! The drive begins just north of Mountain View, which has plenty of B&Bs if you’d like to turn your drive into a getaway.
In addition to the stunning vistas along the way, this route also takes you to the beautiful Bull Shoals area.
TripAdvisor/Lindsey After heading north and passing Mountain Home (which has plenty of fun stops from trails to wineries), the route turns to Bull Shoals Dam. Be aware that camping and fishing around the lake and the White River is nearly irresistible.
There are a couple of spots along the way if you need a break to refuel.
Facebook/Blacksheep BBQ After Bull Shoals the route turns southward to Yellville. Here you’ll find Blacksheep BBQ, which is a pretty darn delicious stop for lunch.
Not only does this drive take you along curvy mountain roads, it also tours through Buffalo River country!
Google/Stephen Lousee This scenic loop will take you through the lower district of the Buffalo National River, near the Buffalo Point Campground. You could stay a night or two along the river or just stop for dessert with a view at the Buffalo Point Restaurant.
Push Mountain Road is such an inspiring trip regardless of how long you take to complete the loop.
