Once upon a time, somewhere between 1947 and 1951, a landowner quietly constructed a 19-acre pond.

Today, this landscape is named for that individual and it’s truly unique.

Pete’s Pond Preserve can be accessed via a trail by the high school parking lot — certainly not the type of place one would expect to find such serenity.
