Here in Wisconsin, a lot of activities are only available on a seasonal basis. However, there are lots of places that offer year-round fun – and Veloce Indoor Speedway is one of them. Not your average go-kart track, Veloce has some of the best – and fastest – go-karts around. Take a look:

Opened in Waukesha in 2015, Veloce Indoor Speedway is a premier go-kart racing facility.

The name says it all. Veloce, which is pronounced ve-low-chay, is Italian for fast.

The track’s indoor locale is a major plus, but it’s the go-karts that really set Veloce apart from other tracks.

So, what’s so special about the karts? Well, they are the fastest, safest, and most technologically advanced fully electric go-karts available.

Able to reach speeds up to 50 mph and outfitted with a variety of accessories, the go-karts offer a driving experience like no other.

Since the karts are so fast, there are a few guidelines for racers. First, you must be at least 58” tall to drive the go-karts.

Veloce also has junior karts, which are suitable for drivers who are 48” and taller.

There are a few ways to race. You can simply “arrive and drive,” which means you’ll race against strangers.

Or, there’s Grand Prix Racing, which allows you to take on your friends. Grand Prix Racing requires a group of six.

There are several Grand Prix Racing options to choose from, ranging in price from $43 to $74. The races vary in what they offer; however, they all include a trophy for the 1st place winner and medals for 2nd and 3rd place.

Never driven a go-kart before? No problem; there are track marshals on hand to provide driving tips and racing recommendations.
