From the outside, Sully’s doesn’t appear to be anything special — but looks can be deceiving. The ordinary looking restaurant just so happens to serve extraordinary steaks.

Opened in 2012 and described as a mom and pop eatery, Sully’s now has two locations — one in Hattiesburg (pictured) and one in Petal.

Despite being around for less than a decade, Sully’s has garnered quite the reputation, particularly when it comes to its steaks.

Dubbed as legendary, the steaks are served with a salad, your choice of side, and Sully’s famous fresh-baked yeast rolls.

So, what makes the steak legendary? Well, according to Sully’s, you’ll know as soon as you taste it.

However, we suspect it may have something to do with the fact that the steaks are Certified Angus Beef, which has been wet-aged for a minimum of 21 days.

But it’s not just the beef’s age that lends to the steaks’ tastiness. There’s also the fast that the steaks are hand-trimmed and cut to order.

Got a HUGE craving for steak? No problem; since the steaks are cut to order, you can get yours cut as large as you’d like.

Once cut, the steaks are dusted with a special blend of house seasoning and char-grilled to perfection.

Steak isn’t Sully’s only specialty, though. The restaurant serves as a venue for live music, featuring a slew of local artists on a regular basis.
