There’s nothing like an old-fashioned sleigh ride to get you in the holiday spirit. Here in Ohio, there’s a special sleigh ride you can take that will temporarily take you back in time. The horse drawn sleigh rides at the Hayes Presidential Library & Museums in Fremont, Ohio are a one-of-a-kind holiday tradition you’ll fall in love with. On select dates in December, you can embark on a unique holiday adventure in the Buckeye State that you can’t take anywhere else. Here’s why you’ll want to mark your calendars:

Every December special sleigh rides are offered at Spiegel Grove. This year, you can take a horse-drawn sleigh ride from December 26 - 31.

Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums/Facebook Rides are offered from 1 - 4 p.m. each day and are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

You’ll journey through the wooded estate of President Rutherford B. Hayes, just as he did when he once lived there.

Sleigh rides are $5.50 per person and trolley rides are $4.50 per person. Children ages 2 and under are free.

South Creek Clydesdales can accommodate up to 400 people a day. It’s possible that trolley rides could be offered in place of sleigh rides, depending on availability.
