One of the things we love best about Maine is the many ways we can all enjoy the wildlife and outdoors. While they’re adorable to be around, they’re mainly used for their fur which is spun into yarn to make all sorts of clothing, toys and accessories.

Baby alpacas are called crias and they weigh about 18 pounds when they’re born. They begin walking just hours after birth and they’re impossibly adorable!
