If you follow Only In New York, you may remember our recent feature about the World’s Largest Gingerbread Village over on the eastern half of the Empire State, but we’ve found a fantastic spot that’s much closer to home here in Buffalo where you can experience all of the holiday cheer you can handle without making such a long journey. Only 20 minutes north of us, the Niagara Falls Culinary Institute has once again set up its annual Gingerbread Village for all to see.

Just like Santa’s helpers, the marvelous folks here plan for months in advance when it comes to creating each gingerbread village.

Once the gingerbread wonderland is finally finished and on display, you’ll find exciting events and activities taking place each weekend throughout the sugary village.
