The Stangl Factory is such a special place. A unique New Jersey destination, its story begins in 1814 with the founding of Hill Pottery. By 1924, Martin Stangl was vice president of the company, which was made famous for introducing America’s first open stock solid-color dinnerware.
From the 1930s through 1978, Stangl’s Flemington Outlet showroom was a popular tourist destination.

Today, it’s just as popular! Though Stangl Pottery has since gone out of business, the beautiful building is still a must-see.
