Mount Alyeska Trail combines a fantastic hike, great views, and a delicious dinner to make for the most perfect day out in Alaska!
Girdwood is a tiny town 40 miles south of Anchorage, with a fabulous restaurant community and great hiking.

The trail starts in the forest, on a nicely groomed trail.

The trail is an out and back trail that comes in at about 4.2 miles.

The trail is moderate, and the switchbacks will help relieve some of the work of the elevation gain.
