It definitely makes sense, as a business must have the support to stay open, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t miss these places while they’re taking a break. That being said, we have great news for those of you who live near or still visit Red River Gorge during the colder months. Miguel’s Pizza in Kentucky, a local, legendary restaurant, will stay open throughout winter for the first time ever and our taste buds couldn’t be happier.
Red River Gorge is a beautiful area of Kentucky that many locals love to visit, especially in the warmer months.

One of the most popular places in the Gorge is Miguel’s Pizza, which has been around since 1984.
Google/Randan Shaw Typically, this favorite restaurant closes down each year from November until March. There aren’t as many visitors to the area during these months, so this decision makes sense. However, for the first time ever, Miguel’s will stay open throughout the winter season.
Miguel’s winter hours (now into March) will be Friday 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
