Adding to the list of festive holiday light displays you don’t want to miss this holiday season is Lights on the Island at Lake Wister State Park. Guests will marvel at over 300 different light displays covering the island as they drive their car through the attraction. Lake Wister State Park is a 3,428-acre state park located in Le Flore County in southeast Oklahoma. This beautiful gateway to the Ouachita Mountains transforms Quarry Island into a winter wonderland and it’s a fun attraction for the whole family.

“Lights on the Island” Christmas extravaganza is filled with over 300 light displays and animations. A visit to this island is the perfect place to go to enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas. And the best part is, you can enjoy it all from the comfort of your own vehicle.

Lights on the Island is free of charge and is open every night from 6 - 9 p.m. until December 25, 2019. Santa is visiting one more time for the season on December 21 in the Gift Shop, so be sure to visit and have a cup of hot cocoa with him.
