When it comes to light displays, LUNA Fête might just be the most unique in New Orleans, and that’s saying something when you consider the incredible displays at Celebration in the Oaks and the Roosevelt Lobby. LUNA Fête is going to be taking over select streets in the downtown area December 12-15, 2019 and you’re not going to want to miss it.

Back for its sixth year, LUNA Fête is a mesmerizing holiday light display that the entire family will enjoy.

This free event was created by the Arts Council of New Orleans in an effort to combine art, light, and technology that will blow you away.

As you wander around the CBD, you’ll see several illuminated installations.

Kids of all ages will have a blast getting to see the different displays.

This spectacle of light uses the building around the city as a backdrop, integrating our city’s historic architecture into the festival.

There will also be an arts market packed with local artists selling their merchandise, which is great for getting some holiday shopping done! There will also be food tents and snacks available, plus the CBD is peppered with lovely restaurants just waiting for you to try.

You can catch LUNA Fête from December 12-15, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. in downtown New Orleans from Lafayette Square to Fulton Street.

LUNA Fête is free and open to the public, but just keep in mind that some of the light displays are timed.
